Ramai yg tak menyedari kepentingan genotyping di Malaysia meskipun diluar negara ia telah menjadi rutin. By knowing the genotype of the patient, we will help to individualised treatment to patient. Namun begitu, bukan semua penyakit memerlukan kaedah genotyping. In some cases, the level of metabolite that may formed in the patient body after its metabolised may help the cliniciant to predict the dose required.
